Yidong Yu, PhD

joined the Experimental Stem Cell Transplantation Lab as a postdoctoral researcher in April 2018. She graduated from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg with a doctoral degree in biology. There she focused on molecular biology of filamentous fungi. Currently in the Beilhack Lab, Yidong is working on development of a novel therapeutic approach to invasive fungal infections in immunocompromised individuals. In 2020 she was awarded with the PostDoc Plus Program of the Graduate School of Life Sciences (GSLS) Würzburg.
