8th eBMT & Cell Therapy Workshop – Schauinsland 2016

Rainy weather, but good spirit and vivid scientific discussions at our 8th eBMT & Cell Therapy Workshop at the Fachschaftshaus of the University of Freiburg on the Schauinsland. The scientific program focussed on recent progress in allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and related topics: Graft-versus-Host disease (GvHD), Graft-versus-Leukemia mechanisms (GvL), immune reconstitution and host-pathogen interactions and novel concepts in cellular therapy. This year’s meeting was organized by the group of Robert Zeiser. As in the past year the retreat provided an excellent opportunity for exchange between young researchers and experienced (physician-)scientists.
