Katharina Schmiedgen

graduated from the Federal Research Assistant School in Würzburg, Germany in 2007. Thereafter she briefly worked in the Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology at Würzburg University and then transferred to the research team at the Division of Experimental Anesthiology at Würzburg University Hospital. In 2010 she joined the Experimental Stem Cell Transplantation laboratory at Würzburg University Hospital and developed into an expert in molecular and cellular methods such as PCR, multiplex flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry covering a broad range of projects in inflammation, host pathogen interactions and tumor immunology.
